There are many websites which list details of convent accommodation
In Rome it is possible to stay in old convent structures managed by religious bodies. Usually these are Spartan structures and simply furnished. The structures have average costs but some are particularly economical and meet the needs of groups of pilgrims or families. They are usually found within close proximity to Vatican City. Some examples are the Casa San Giuseppe della Montagna and the Congregation of the Ursuline Sisters of S Carlo E S Ambrogio.
